

SEOUL, South Korea (October 30, 2025) — SK Signet, a global manufacturer of electric vehicle charging equipment, announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Cho Hyung-Ki as its new chief executive officer.
Mr. Cho, born in 1973, joined SK Networks in 2000 and has since built a reputation as a strategist with deep expertise in finance while holding major management roles across several key affiliates of the SK Group, including SK Inc., SK Networks and SK ElecLink.
Over the years, Mr. Cho has served as head of corporate planning at SK Networks, led the group’s SUPEX Promotion Task Force, and later became chief executive of SK ElecLink. In those roles, he was credited with driving operational improvements (O/I), strengthening financial structures and enhancing market competitiveness through disciplined strategy development and execution. These experiences has positioned him as a leader capable of building a sustainable foundation for long-term management.
He also brings extensive hands-on experience in the electric vehicle charging sector. During his tenure at SK ElecLink, Mr. Cho successfully led the build-out and systemization of the company’s charging point operator business, along with public charging infrastructure projects aimed at expanding South Korea’s EV charging network. Those efforts positioned him as a leader with a broad understanding of the industry and a proven capacity to turn strategic vision into real-world results.
SK Signet said he plans to draw on those qualities as he leads the company’s global expansion and advances technological innovation to strengthen its competitive position in the market.
An SK Signet official said the company expects Mr. Cho’s deep understanding of the EV charging industry and his extensive experience to play a pivotal role in building a sustainable growth model and reinforcing its technological leadership in global markets.
